Digital Archaeology
In space, according to the tagline to the 1979 film Alien, no one can hear you scream. Online, it’s the opposite. On the internet everyone can find, read about and see your most intimate details, from today and from all of your yesterdays. If they dig hard enough, like real-world archaeologists, anyone who wants can find the electronic imprint of your uploaded, blogged, micro-blogged and checked-in life. Today’s technology has resulted in a new era in which e-diggers can conduct Digital Archaeology.
